According to astrology beliefs, what exactly will happen in 2012?
I wonder if people’s natal charts show any significant change during 2012 hmm maybe a pattern or something? So, ASTROLOGICALLY speaking, is it evident that there will be some sort of " turning point" or "transformation" during the year 2012 and does it show on people’s natal charts since I assume it will affect human kind?
I for one am not a huge believer in astrology but the subject can still be very interesting to me

It’s not a question of belief, it’s a question of plain facts. Nothing will happen. The whole thing is an invention by a bunch of frauds and crackpots trying to get you to buy worthless books and videos. None of it has any basis in real science. The people promoting this have no knowledge of science. They just like to pretend to be knowledgeable in order to impress the gullible. Don’t be one of the gullible.
There is no ‘ancient prediction’ by the Mayans or anyone else. These were all invented in the last 20 years.
There is no ‘mystery planet’ about to pass by. Why don’t the fraudsters tell us its current location in the sky, so we can all look at it? You decide.
There will be no rare alignment, either planetary or galactic. When was the last alignment that caused us any problems anyway?
There will be no pole shift. A magnetic pole shift is not imminent and probably tens of thousands of years away. A sudden rotational pole shift is a physical impossibility.
The next solar maximum is expected in mid 2013, not 2012 and is expected to be less intense than the last maximum in 2001.
Other predictions such as the photon belt and Terence McKenna’s Timewave Zero are just too silly to bother with.

some wierd planet alignment will happen, the moon will turn bright red, supposedly the north and south poles will switch places, an asteroid will collide into the earth and cause darkness, or Jesus could rapture those who believe in Him
Dear one,
I have personally experienced so much so far this year that I would have never imagined one year ago. No matter what changes are happening or manifesting on earth or in your life. The one thing that has assisted me more than anything during these changes has been focusing on the frequency of love. It is our balance, our grounding energy. If your world seems to be falling apart around you, my suggestion is to not act or feel fear but to "choose" Love. It will bring balance to your mind, body and spirit, through any time of imbalance or challenge.

Cuz Young people don’t know who anybody is unless they have been popular in the last 2 years or so but . You should look in to what he said.

I checked out the chart for december 21, 2012 on astro.com and there is no alignment whatsoever on that date. No conjunctions, no multiple planets aligning. There is what is called a winter solstice. The earth tilt causes it to have shorter days until the solstice, and longer days after the solstice. So that is technically the beginning of a new year in one way of looking at it. The Sun enters Capricorn on that date. From what I gather, the Earth’s movement through the galaxy causes it to pass through the center of the Milky Way and there is some kind of alignment with Ophiccus which happens every 26000 years or so. So basically it is the first time in recorded history that it has happened. Whatever happened 26000 years ago will happen again. Nobody knows what exactly could happen. Maybe nothing. I suppose it is possible that the Earth could reverse it’s magnetic poles. That has never happened in human history, so what it means is unknown. The fact is that whatever will happen is unknown and unpredictable. In my imagination the Earth could suddenly turn upside down, but I don’t know if that is truly possible.
What happened 26000 years ago? Well that was around the time that Cromagnon man (Modern Man) appeared, and Neanderthal Man disappeared. Well 30-40000 years ago roughly. Also there was an ice age around then.

till now most of the happenings are matching /inferring to the mayan calender , therefore it is presumed that the world is coming to and end on that date

NOTE: The astronomer Philip Plait has stated very clearly that the Mayan calendar does not end in 2012 at all, that it is like the odometer on your car, as each section of the odometer reaches 9 and then clicks over to 0, the next number to it starts a new cycle, so that when all the numbers again reach 0 all the way across the odometer – the last number will change from 1 to 2 and the new cycle starts all over again
